A med spa inside a medical practice
Optimal Health is a family practice and med spa in one downtown Provo office, led by nurse practitioners. Our master aesthetician, Claudia Hancock, works alongside them. We believe beauty and vitality begin within, so if something underneath, like your hormones, is part of what you see in the mirror, our medical providers can look into that too.
How to book
Treatments here are booked one of two ways, depending on who does them. Not sure which one yours is? Call or text and we’ll tell you.
Skin, brow, and lash treatments with our aesthetician
Facials, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and brow and lash services book online any time. Your consult with Claudia Hancock, our master aesthetician, is free.
Dysport with a medical provider
Dysport is a medical appointment here, so our front desk books it by phone. They answer your questions and get you with the right provider.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a spa and a med spa?
A day spa is built around relaxation. A med spa also offers medical aesthetic treatments, such as injectables, alongside skin care like facials and peels. At Optimal Health, the med spa is part of a medical practice led by nurse practitioners, and Dysport is booked as a medical appointment.
Can I book online?
Yes, for treatments with our master aesthetician. Facials, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and brow and lash services book online through Boulevard. Dysport is booked by phone through our front desk at 801-877-5801. For any other treatment, call us or text 866-485-7664 and we’ll tell you how it’s booked.
Is the consultation free?
Your consult with our master aesthetician is free. Dysport is a medical appointment with a provider, so it isn’t booked as a free consult.
Do you offer Botox?
The neuromodulator we place is Dysport. It relaxes the muscles behind forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet the same basic way Botox does, and it tends to show in 2 to 3 days. Our Dysport page compares the two.
Who performs the treatments?
Skin, brow, and lash services are with our master aesthetician, Claudia Hancock. Dysport is placed by a licensed medical provider at the practice.
Where are you, and when are you open?
We’re at 240 E Center St in downtown Provo, a short drive from Orem and the rest of Utah County. We’re open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9 to 4, Wednesday 9 to 5, and Friday 9 to 1.
