What happens during a Hydrating Facial

A deep cleanse and exfoliation

Claudia starts by cleansing your skin and exfoliating away buildup.

A lymphatic drainage facial massage

Next comes a slow, gentle massage across your face.

An enzyme mask and a hand and arm massage

While the mask hydrates your skin, Claudia massages your hands and arms.

Hydrating finishing products

She finishes with hydrating products, so you leave with skin that feels nourished.

Not sure where to start? The consult is free

If you have a skin concern and aren’t sure whether a facial, a chemical peel, or something else fits it, book the free consult with Claudia. She looks at your skin and your current skincare routine and answers your questions.

You leave with product recommendations and a treatment plan, and you decide from there. There is no charge for the consult itself.

Before and after your facial

Before. Tell us about any skin sensitivities, and about skincare or medicine that makes your skin more reactive, such as a prescription retinoid, especially if you plan to add dermaplaning. Go easy on scrubs and strong exfoliating products in the days before.

After. Wear sunscreen, keep your skin moisturized, and skip harsh or exfoliating products for a little while so your skin can settle. Claudia tells you anything specific to your treatment before you leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a facial cost?

Call 801-877-5801 or text 866-485-7664 for current prices on our facials and add-ons. The consult with our master aesthetician is free.

How often should you get a facial?

Many people book a facial about once a month, which is roughly how often skin renews itself. Others come in for a season or before an event. Claudia can suggest a rhythm for your skin at your free consult.

What should I do before a facial?

Mention any skin sensitivities when you arrive, along with anything that makes your skin reactive, like a prescription retinoid. If you’re adding dermaplaning, leave out scrubs and strong exfoliants for a few days first.

What should you not do after a facial?

Don’t pick at your skin, and hold off on harsh or exfoliating products while it settles. Keep up your sunscreen and moisturizer. If your treatment calls for anything more, Claudia will say so.

What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation with a medical grade blade. Claudia shaves away the outer layer of dead skin and peach fuzz. It’s an add-on, not part of the Hydrating Facial, and Claudia can tell you which treatments it goes with at your free consult.

Do your facials include extractions?

Not as standard. Extractions, which clear blackheads and whiteheads, are an add-on. Add them to any skincare service when you book, or ask Claudia about them at your consult.

Can two people get a facial together?

Yes, with the Pampered Pair Mini Facials. You take turns: one of you has the mini facial while the other relaxes under a red light mask, and then you switch.

Can I book a facial online?

Yes. The facials, the add-ons, and the free consult are all on our online booking page. We’re at 240 E Center St in downtown Provo. Questions? Call 801-877-5801 or text 866-485-7664.
